BHSU names part time students to Fall 2014 Dean's List Wednesday, January 28, 2015 The Office of Academic Affairs at Black Hills State University has released the part time student Dean’s List for the fall 2014 semester. A total of 187 students maintained a grade point average of 3.5 or above while taking less than 12 credit hours to be named to the list this semester.

Black Hills State University will host an awards ceremony Friday, Jan. 30 at 2 p.m. in the Joy Center to honor the student finalists in the “Where Anything is Possible” tagline contest.

Dr. Nicole Royer, criminologist and instructor of sociology, will present her lecture “Cannibalism, Necrophilia, and Death and Dying: Taboos and Popular Culture” on Thursday, Jan. 22 at 4 p.m. in Jonas Hall 110 on the BHSU campus.

Students are being challenged to create marketing concepts using the University’s new tagline ‘Where Anything is Possible’ in a campus-wide contest. The winning entry has the possibility of being shown regionally during the Super Bowl or being placed on a billboard.
