Project SELECT is an accelerated secondary teacher certification program unique to BHSU.  This program embraces the philosophy of theory into practice, with active learning experiences supported through the coaching and mentorship of highly trained professionals in a field based environment.

Project SELECT offers the following benefits to you:

• Complete certification (with all practicum and student teaching) in a 10 month time frame.
  
  
• Complete certification on a 'fast track'
  2 semesters/Project SELECT versus 3 semesters/"stand alone" program.
  
  
• Is an alternative route to teacher education / certification.  You would receive interactive, dynamic instruction, while experiencing the support of a cohort to promote reflective practice.
  
  
• Project SELECT provides the pre-service teacher with expanded field experience (minimum of 21 weeks).
