After graduation, you will be prepared to be certified to teach special education in grades K-12.  If you are already teaching and complete the special education endorsement, you will be able to teach special education as well as your current field.  Many BHSU graduates continue their education at the graduate level. The undergraduate degree in special education would provide a foundation for graduate school in school administration or school psychology.
