The Advanced Manufacturing degree is specifically designed to prepare you with the skills and knowledge needed in management, leadership and technology for today’s growing high-tech manufacturing field. This degree was developed with input from manufacturing leaders, graduates of our program and education professionals to ensure you are learning relevant skills necessary to excel in the field.
Located in Rapid City and Yankton, this is the only Associate of Science program for Advanced Manufacturing in South Dakota. Courses are led by highly qualified faculty, credits are fully transferrable to four year university programs state wide, and course schedules are arranged to fit your needs.
The course work for the Advanced Manufacturing degree combines computer-based advanced manufacturing, leadership, and management skills to give you the “technical edge” that employers are looking for.

BHSU allows students to complete a degree in less time with the Industrial Technology Associate’s Degree program. This program provides instruction that fills the gap between the engineer and the craftsman. BHSU prepares students for middle management positions by providing them with the knowledge, hands-on-skills, and the ability to think critically within the industrial setting.
