BHSU-RC student earns $1,000 tourism scholarship

Black Hills State University-Rapid City student Kathy Martinson was awarded a $1,000 scholarship from TourismCares, recently.
Martinson, a business administration-tourism and hospitality management major from Rapid City, received the TourismCares 2015 International Airlines Travel Agent Network (IATAN) Ronald A. Santana Scholarship.

Jhett Albers, director of athletics, said BHSU scholar-athlete GPA statistics are impressive every year but even more impressive this year because BHSU has increased the number of scholar-athletes participating in the University’s athletic programs.
