Major in Human Services at BHSU

The Human Services major at BHSU is an interdisciplinary program designed to prepare students to excel in the helping professions. Those who have a strong desire to help others will learn how to effectively serve communities in a rapidly changing and complex world.

BHSU Human Services graduates become case workers, social service liaisons, alcohol and drug abuse counselors, client advocates, juvenile court liaisons, crisis intervention counselors, and probation/parole officers. Students can choose to specialize in community service, gerontology, or probation and law enforcement.
