Black Hills State University places the very best of teachers nationally and regionally from our Art Education program. BHSU has had graduates secure successful teaching positions with their art education not only regionally but also across the nation. There are also students who have successfully completed a Master of Fine Arts Degree after our program and have secured higher education teaching positions and have pursued other artistic work experiences. One of our graduates has worked in the position of Visual Arts Director of the Spearfish Arts Center.
