Required steps after selecting a study abroad program

1. Complete Application and Planning Guide to Study Abroad
2. Meet with your advisor about your degree plan 
3. Meet with the Office of International Studies to answer any questions 
4. Check any travel warnings in your chosen country 
5. Apply for your chosen program 
6. Apply for any necessary VISAs needed to study in your chosen country

7. Check if there are any required vaccinations 

8. Buy your plane ticket
9. Enroll in CISI, the SDBOR approved Study Abroad Insurance Policy, through the Office of International Studies
