BHSU has three locations in Rapid City. Our administrative offices are located downtown in the Higher Education Center at 515 West Boulevard (See A on Map). This historic stone building in located in Halley Park. Rapid City residents also refer to this location as “the gap”. In addition to the administrative offices of BHSU in Rapid City (A), BHSU – RC can be found at the South Dakota School of Mines (B) and in the Rushmore Building (C).Hours: 7:00 am until 6:00 pm, Mon. - Thurs. 7:00 am until 5:00 pm on Friday. Evening classes are held on the SDSMT campus at 501 East St Joseph Street (See B on Map). Most classes are held in the Classroom Building (CB). Classes are also held in the McLaury Building (M), the Chemical Engineering Building (C), the Computer Engineering/ Physics/ Computer Center (EP), the Mineral Industries Building (MI) and the King Center (KC).
Computer classes, science classes and noon hour classes are held in the Rushmore Building at 1600 Sedivy (See C on Map). The Rushmore Building is the old WDTI building. It is located across the street from the Star of the West Softball Complex. The Rushmore Building is also home to BHSU faculty offices and the BHSU bookstore.
