Why did you choose Black Hills State University?
They offered a Tourism and Hospitality degree and after meeting with the College of Business and Technology dean, it felt like a perfect fit.

What is your major and what made you decide on this major?
Business Administration; Hospitality and Tourism. Working in the Hospitality and Tourism field within the family business, it made me realize this is an area that I enjoy.

What has been your experience in you major?
I am involved in the Travel and Tourism Club on campus. Also my experience managing events at Canyon Lake Resort in Rapid City.

What was your favorite business course at BHSU and why?
I have enjoyed all of my Tourism courses so far because of the smaller classroom size and being around students with the same interests as me.

What activities are you involved in here at Black Hills State University?
I am the Vice-President of the Travel and Tourism Club and involved in College Republicans.

In what way do you feel BHSU has best prepared you for your future career?
I believe BHSU has best prepared me for my future career by the internships that are offered and the small atmosphere that has allowed me to network not only with my professors and other students, but also with community leaders through classes and activities at BHSU.

Where do you see your career in 10 years?
Working at a high-end event facility and planning weddings.
