Join us for a faculty recital November 1^st at 7:30pm in the Clare and Josef Meier Recital Hall on the Black Hills State University campus.  Selections will include Frondescence with Amber Waseen on flute, a Bach Cantata with Dr. Jonathan Nero, and the world premiere of Dr. Symeon Waseen’s song cycle Five Moments with soprano Dr. Nancy Roberts, commissioned by the South Dakota Music Teachers Association.  Texts for the song cycle were chosen from the poetry of BHSU professor Dr. David Cremean. This concert is part of the 2012 SDMTA conference, an event which includes concerts, competitions for vocalist and instrumentalist grade 5 though college, and workshops for music teachers.
