Online Strategic Leadership Program Requirements

Requirements

The Master of Science in Strategic Leadership (MSSL) program consists of a total of 33 credit hours of graduate level work. This is accomplished by taking 24 credit hours of required courses and an additional 9 credits of approved electives.

The program of study will be offered using an executive, cohort model and will be delivered as follows:

  • 1st Fall Semester
    • Core Courses for Theme I (SLDR 710, SLDR 728) -- 6 credits
  • 1st Spring Semester
    • Core Courses for Theme II (SLDR 740, SLDR 748) -- 6 credits
  • 1st Summer Semester
    • 2 Electives -- 6 credits
  • 2nd Fall Semester
    • Core Course for Theme III (SLDR 752) & 1 Elective -- 6 credits
  • 2nd Spring Semester
    • Mentoring (SLDR 775) & Practicum (SLDR695) -- 6 credits
  • 2nd Summer Semester
    • Capstone Course (SLDR 770) -- 3 credits

    Computer Requirements

    The MSSL program is delivered online. Students will need to have access to a computer and Internet connection to take the program. All MSSL courses are taught using Desire2Learn (D2L). Visit the D2L computer requirements page to check if your computer meets the minimum technical requirement.
