The Master of Science in Secondary Education degree provides preparation for post baccalaureate secondary teacher certification in South Dakota. It is designed for individuals with bachelor’s degrees from accredited colleges or universities that can lead to secondary content teaching areas.
Many working adults desire career changes and are interested in becoming middle school and high school teachers. They have bachelor’s degrees and would find it hard to commit three or four semesters to completion of a traditional teacher preparation program.
More information about the Master of Science in Secondary Education to come. Applications will soon be available for 2017-18.
Persons wanting post baccalaureate secondary teacher certification at the undergraduate level should contact either Dr. Liz Fayer or Dr. Ryan Amys to explore an undergraduate plan of study.
