Requirements for the M.Ed. in Reading

Cohorts in the Master of Education in Reading program take all courses online except for a practicum arranged in each student’s home school district in the last semester. The program meets South Dakota and Wyoming requirements for advanced level certification as a Reading Specialist. Graduates are prepared to serve school districts as literacy coaches and reading coordinators.
