Twenty-six teachers from South Dakota recently attended the Mobile Science Lab workshop at Black Hills State University. The teachers participated in many different sessions including topics in the areas of chemistry, biology, earth science, and physical science.

The Black Hills State Players, which includes a cast of current BHSU students and alumni, will stage three separate productions this summer giving five performances each week. Each production will run for two weeks in the Woodburn Theatre.

Aubrey Baxter competes in shot put at the 2008 BHSU Frostbite InvitationalAubrey Baxter, BHSU junior from Redfield, has qualified for the Olympic Trials in the shot put with a put of 54-00.50. Baxter, a psychology major, is the first BHSU athlete to reach this Olympic milestone.
