Black Hills State University alumnus Cody Byrum was one of 40 young professionals selected by Prairie Business magazine for their fourth annual 40-Under-40 listing.

The BHSU Library will extend its hours during finals week. Beginning Sunday, Dec. 11 through Wednesday, Dec. 14, the library will stay open until 1 a.m., and Thursday, Dec. 15 the library will stay open until 11p.m. Snacks will be provided from BHSU faculty and staff. Black Hills State University student Chris Yushta is currently displaying his photography at Roma’s Ristorante in Spearfish. An artist’s reception will be held Dec. 13 from 5-7 p.m., Yushta will be available to answer questions about his exhibit.
