Music fans have a lot to be excited about this spring. The Black Hills State University music department will be presenting its first full opera.
More than 50 people attended the ribbon cutting for the South Dakota Center for Enterprise Opportunity at Black Hills State University this week.

Black Hills State University students will host a photo exhibition entitled, “Untitled” Visions of Diversity, on the BHSU campus Dec. 10 through Jan. 29. A reception will open the exhibition Dec. 10 from 4 to 6 p.m.
This spring, Alexandra Fuller, an author who grew up in Africa and now lives in Wyoming, will visit Black Hills State University. Dr. Amy Fuqua, director of the BHSU Honors Program, is encouraging area libraries, book clubs, and schools to considering adding Fuller’s books to their reading lists prior to the March 23 presentation.
Black Hills State University will present the holiday classic Miracle on 34th Street Dec. 3-5.
This fall Black Hills State University hosted a 35th KBHU Radio Anniversary Reunion in conjunction with Swarm Day festivities.
Black Hills State University will present “Twilight’s Bite: The Power of Popular Culture,” Wednesday, Dec. 9 at 7 p.m. in Jonas 104.
