Twelve Black Hills State University senior art and art education students are exhibiting their work during the annual Senior Art Exit Exhibition in the Ruddell Gallery. An opening reception will be held April 4 from 2-4 p.m. with the exhibit on display through April 25.

Local junior high and high schools students will get to create their own media campaign kit during a one-day Media Blitz event at Black Hills State University. Two sessions of the Media Blitz event will be offered, one on Tuesday, May 13 and one on Wednesday, May 14.

In an effort to reduce motorcycle accidents and help prepare beginning riders, the South Dakota Safety Council in cooperation with Black Hills State University is offering motorcycle training classes in May on campus.
South Dakota Attorney General Marty Jackley will recount the decades-long investigation into American Indian Movement activist Annie Mae Aquash’s murder and the eventual prosecution of fellow activist John Graham during a presentation at the University Center-Rapid City Thursday, March 20 at 4 p.m.
