Black Hills State University students who went to New Orleans, La. over their spring break to assist with hurricane relief efforts will share their stories, photos, and video about their service work Tuesday, April 3 at 2 p.m. in Jonas Hall, room 202 on the BHSU campus.

Williams will travel to Sioux Falls and present his plan to a group of business and financial expert reviewers April 12.

First Western Bank recently pledged $50,000 to establish a scholarship endowment at Black Hills State University. The First Western Bank Scholarship will be awarded annually to a BHSU business student from western South Dakota.

This year the symposium featured 17 students who presented poster sessions and 13 students who offered oral presentations. Dr. Ben Perryman, director of Sanford Research/University of South Dakota was the keynote speaker.
