Eric Schlosser, award-winning author of Fast Food Nation, will be at Black Hills State University Monday, Oct. 17 at 7 p.m. in Clare and Josef Meier Hall to discuss, what he defines as “the dark side of the all-American meal,” as part of the Madeline A. Young Distinguished Speaker Series.
More than 200 people attended renowned author Alexandra Fuller’s presentation and book signing at Black Hills State University. Fuller, who grew up in Africa and currently lives in Wyoming, discussed topics in her recent book The Legend of Colton H. Bryant, as part of the Madeline A. Young Distinguished Speaker Series.
Black Hills State University recently presented Alexandra Fuller books to high school libraries in Spearfish, Belle Fourche, Sundance, Gillette, Sturgis, Lead, Deadwood and Rapid City in anticipation of Fuller’s presentation at BHSU this month.
Alexandra Fuller, an author who grew up in Africa and now lives in Wyoming, will visit Black Hills State University March 23 at 7 p.m. in the Clare & Josef Meier Recital Hall.

This spring, Alexandra Fuller, an author who grew up in Africa and now lives in Wyoming, will visit Black Hills State University. Dr. Amy Fuqua, director of the BHSU Honors Program, is encouraging area libraries, book clubs, and schools to considering adding Fuller’s books to their reading lists prior to the March 23 presentation.
