Prominent advertising executive Kirk Kirkpatrick will present “Advertising in 2020: Innovation in Communication” at Black Hills State University Monday, April 28 at 1 p.m. in the Clare and Josef Meier Recital Hall.
Kirkpatrick has won numerous industry awards as an ad agency writer and has worked with such companies as Clorox, Hidden Valley Ranch, Russell Stover, Pine-Sol, Sun Sweet, Miller High Life, Bacardi, and Sun-Maid Raisins. He is the executive creative director for a prestigious firm whose clientele includes Wal-Mart, the world’s largest company. He and his team worked with musicians including Destiny’s Child, Garth Brooks, Queen Latifah, and Martina McBride to develop one of Wal-Mart’s successful holiday campaigns.
