Steve Babbitt, Black Hills State University mass communications professor, is currently exhibiting two of his photographs in Street Photography, which is newest international exhibition of photographic fine art in The Center of Fine Art Photography, located in the Poudre River Art Center in Fort Collins, Colo.

The Street Photography exhibition presents a selection of images taken on the streets of larger cities. Street photography is a genre of photography which began in the early 60s and remains popular today. Although Babbitt is better known locally for his photographs of the western landscape and the Northern Plains, he has been an avid street photographer for over 20 years.

The exhibition consists of 66 images from 61 photographers representing Australia, Canada, Japan, Spain, Switzerland and the United States. Images selected for the exhibition may be viewed on the Centers web site at www.c4fap.org.

The exhibition will be on display in the Center’s gallery through April 26. For more information contact Babbitt at Steve Babbitt@BHSU.edu or call 642-6769.
