The E.Y. Berry Library-Learning Center at Black Hills State University will celebrate National Library Week April 13-19.
National Library Week was created in 1958 by the American Library Association (ALA) to celebrate the contributions of libraries and librarians and to promote library use and support. This year’s theme, “Join the Circle of Knowledge,” illustrates the tendency of knowledge to travel full circle.
In honor of the celebration, the BHSU library will offer amnesty to anyone with overdue fines during the week. To receive amnesty for their fines, patrons should return overdue library materials during the week of April 13-19.
For more information, contact Nancy Rumney-Rhoades, BHSU library associate, at 642-6834 or NancyRumney@BHSU.edu.
