Director of the BHSU Center for American Indian Studies co-authors book

John Glover, director of the Black Hills State University Center for American Indian studies and associate dean of American Indian law programs at the University of South Dakota, is a contributing author on Successful Ethical Decision-Making, which was released last month.

The text is designed to explore and explain the contemporary decision-making process of a fiduciary as defined by legal traditions. Corporate and professional codes of ethics are examined in an applied fashion. The result is a step-by-step process of decision-making that can be used in any situation where one is to be held accountable, especially for actions impacting others.

“I am very pleased to have been involved in writing this book,” said Glover. “I was able to contribute to the content as well as perform much of the editing.”

The book’s primary author is Michael Tate Barkley. The text is now available online through several sources including www.amazon.com.

Glover received his bachelor’s in political science from Concordia College and a law degree from Willamette University.  He joined the BHSU faculty in 1992.
