Over 350 students participated, an increase of over fifty percent. According to Arlene Holmes, director of the BHSU Career Center, at least eight students were offered jobs during the fair, and several students were encouraged to apply for open positions.
Five students won prizes for their attendance. Mamie Plymesser, Nicholas Fuegen, and Andy Altmyer each won BHSU portfolios. Jesse Komes and Mary Flanery each won a resume preparation kit.
The next career fair, the annual Black Hills Teacher Fair, will be held April 21. For more information, contact Holmes at 642-6219 or ArleneHolmes@BHSU.edu.
