South Dakota EPSCoR internship applications currently accepted for summer 2008

Black Hills State University recently announced that paid internship opportunities are available for students who are interested in gaining a better understanding of how research affects technology-based economic development and its influence in everyday life.

All internships will give students the opportunity to explore cutting-edge technology and work with experts in their fields.

The Experimental Program to Stimulate Competitive Research (EPSCoR) offers statewide undergraduate summer internship and research opportunities that include a $3,000 stipend for each 10-week experience. Students will be able to work with distinguished faculty in research, education, or communications.

In addition there is also a $4,000, 10-week internship available for business and entrepreneurship graduate students.

Applications are due March 15. The application and more information about individual areas of research are available at www.sdepscor.org.
