Contestant earns $400 at BHSU basketball game free throw contest

A Black Hills State University visitor won $400 during his chance to shoot five free throws, earning $100 for each basket, in the Free Throw for Cash raffle ticket fundraiser at the Yellow Jacket men’s basketball game Jan 26.

Rob Johnson, a high school senior from Dayton, Wyo., was the winning ticket holder and made $400 in cash.  Rob had come to BHSU on a campus visit and to watch his sister, Courtney Johnson, play basketball for the Lady Yellow Jackets.  The Free Throw for Cash event was part of the larger Habitat for Humanity fundraiser to assist with the costs of providing homes to those in need in the larger Black Hills area.
