BHSU to present "A Tribute to Cole Porter" dessert theatre performance

The Black Hills State University Theatre Department will host their annual dessert theatre Feb. 14-17 in the David B. Miller Yellow Jacket Student Union Jacket Legacy Room. This year, the department will present “A Tribute to Cole Porter.” Performances will be held Feb. 14-16 at 7:30 p.m. and Feb. 17 at 2:30 p.m.

“A Tribute to Cole Porter” celebrates the life and legacy of composer and songwriter Cole Porter. According to Bert Juhrend, BHSU Theatre director, the show’s content and included dessert makes it a great Valentine’s Day date.

The cast consists of 20 BHSU students; faculty members Judith Neighbours, John Alsup, Roger Miller; and Spearfish community member Lisa Langer.

Seating is limited and reservations are recommended. Tickets are $6 for BHSU students and $10 for faculty, staff, and community members. For more information or to reserve a seat, contact Juhrend at 642-6268 or
