BHSU student organizations will host holiday activities next week

Several Black Hills State University student organizations have announced holiday-themed activities for the week of Dec. 3-7. All events will be held in the David B. Miller Yellow Jacket Student Union, unless otherwise noted.

Dec. 3: Mistletoe Monday
Origami Ornament Making, 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Hot Cocoa, 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Coloring Activity Contest, all week – Submissions due at Wenona Cook Hall Room 124

Dec. 4: Tinsel Tuesday
Origami Ornament Making, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Labyrinth, 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. – Student Union Jacket Legacy Room
Letter Writing to Troops, 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Candlelight Service with carols and stories, 6:30 p.m. – Student Union Market Place

Dec. 5: Winter Wednesday
Origami Ornament Making, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Letter Writing to Troops, 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Snowman Building, 2 p.m. – Campus Green
Hot Cider, 1 – 4 p.m.
Caroling, 7 – 8 p.m. – Campus
Holiday Budget Seminar with refreshments, 7 p.m.
Rumba Workshop, 7 – 9 p.m. – Student Union Jacket Legacy Room

Dec. 6: Tidings Thursday
Christmas Story Time, 10 – 11 a.m. – BHSU Daycare Center
“What the Bible Really Says about Christmas”, 4 p.m. – Student Union Room 222
Sleigh Rides, 4:30 – 6:30 p.m. – Begins at E.Y. Berry Library-Learning Center
Holiday Kid Carnival, 6 – 8 p.m. – Student Union Market Place
BHSU Theatre presents “It’s a Wonderful Life”, 7:30 p.m. – Woodburn Hall Auditorium

Dec. 7: Frosty Friday
Cookie Decorating, 9 – 10 a.m. – BHSU Daycare Center
BHSU Theatre presents “It’s a Wonderful Life”, 7:30 p.m. – Woodburn Hall Auditorium
