BHSU Christmas concert to take place this weekend

The Black Hills State University Concert Band, Concert Choir, and Chamber Singers will present their annual Christmas Concert Dec. 1-3. The choirs are directed by assistant BHSU music professor Dr. Jonathon Nero and David Martinson.
Musicians comprised of local community members and BHSU students participate in the choirs and band. This year’s concert will feature such holiday favorites as Tchaikovsky’s The Nutcracker Suite, Oh Holy Night, Bach’s Magnificat, and many other selections.
The Saturday, Dec. 1 performance will take place at the Belle Fourche Community Hall at 2:30 p.m., followed by performances Sunday, Dec. 2 at 2:30 p.m. and Monday, Dec. 3 at 7:30 p.m. in BHSU’s Clare and Josef Meier Recital Hall.
