Make a Difference Day to take place Oct. 27

The University Programming (UP) Team at Black Hills State University, in cooperation with the AmeriCorps* VISTA Community-University-Resource-Exchange (C-U-R-E) Office and several Spearfish businesses, will host the 2007 Make a Difference Day Saturday, Oct. 27 at 9 a.m.

The fourth annual event begins with a breakfast followed by service work at 10 a.m.  Participants should bring a non-perishable food item for the Spearfish Food Pantry or one new, unwrapped toy for the Red Shirt Table toy drive.  Although Make a Difference Day will conclude at approximately 12:30 p.m., longer projects, such as food or book drives, will continue through the week.
