“Wild Fire” by Richard Dubois, class of 1964, is on display in the new President’s Gallery, located on the second floor of Woodburn Hall, as part of the annual Black Hills State University Alumni Art Show.

The Black Hills State University will host a closing reception for its annual Alumni Art Show Friday Oct. 5 from 3:30 to 5 p.m. at the Ruddell Gallery in the David B. Miller Yellow Jacket Student Union.  Jim Knutson, professor in the visual arts department, says “this is the largest response we have had in 12 years of alumni shows.”

Alumni from 1940 to 2007 have contributed to the show, which will be on display until Oct. 7 in the Ruddell Gallery.  Additional alumni artwork is located in the new President’s Gallery, located on the second floor of Woodburn Hall.  The new gallery was made possible by President Kay Schallenkamp.
