Dakota String Quartet and Dakota Wind Quintet to perform at BHSU

The Dakota String Quartet and the Dakota Wind Quintet

Dakota Wind Quintet
will present a concert at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday Oct. 3, in the Black Hills State University Clare and Josef Meier Recital Hall.

The Dakota String Quartet has presented throughout the region since 1978. The Dakota Wind Quintet was formed in 1982. The musicians from both ensembles participated in highly competitive auditions and were chosen for their diverse backgrounds, musical excellence, and experience in orchestral, chamber, and solo performance. Both ensembles spend a majority of their time on tour, presenting at concert halls, public schools, community centers, and college campuses.
