Theisz publishes five poems in "Fire Ring Voices"

Dr. R.D. Theisz, humanities professor and chair of the Department of Humanities at Black Hills State University, had five poems published in the 2007 Volume Four Edition of Fire Ring Voices published by Bemidji State University.

The poems were: “There Are Many Last Times,”  “My Father Was,” “Snowstorm Runner,” “Almost at the Bend,” and “Crossing That Dividing Sea.”

Theisz received his master’s degree in German from Middlebury College and his Ph.D. in Literature from New York University. He has been a member of the BHSU faculty since 1977.
