BHSU Theatre and Music departments collaborate on production of “You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown”

 
 The Black Hills State University Theatre and Music departments will present "You're a Good Man Charlie Brown" Feb. 20-22 in the Pangburn Hall Theatre.
Charlie Brown, the lovable loser of the “Peanuts” comic strip, and the whole “Peanuts” gang will make their way to the Pangburn Hall Theatre as the Black Hills State University Theatre and Music departments present “You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown.” Performances are Thursday, Feb. 20 – Saturday, Feb. 22 at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, Feb. 23 at 2:30 p.m. Tickets are $8 for adults and $6 for seniors and children 17 and under.

“You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown” is a 1967 musical comedy with music and lyrics by Clark Gesner based on the characters created by cartoonist Charles M. Schulz in his comic strip “Peanuts.” 

The musical tells the story of an average day in the life of the famous comic strip child hero Charlie Brown.

The cast includes:

Matthew Adair, music major from Sheridan, Wyo., as Charlie

Emily Morse, mass communication from Rapid City, as Lucy

Kassi Blue, English major from Rapid City, as Sally

Tyler Millslagle, speech communication major from Rapid City, as Schroeder

Cody Pepitone, music major from Ellsworth, as Linus

Jesse Dunaway, music major from Rapid City, as Snoopy
