QuickBooks for beginners to be held at UC-RC

A QuickBooks training for beginners will be held Thursday, Jan. 23 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the University Center-Rapid City (UC-RC), Room 103.

The South Dakota Center for Enterprise Opportunity (SD CEO) at BHSU has partnered with the CPA firm of Casey Peterson and Associates, Ltd, to bring this day-long workshop to UC-RC.

Attendees will learn about the QuickBooks interface and will learn how to: create a new company file and chart of accounts, write checks and record deposits, reconcile bank statements and credit cards, perform payroll and sales tax, and run reports. Participants will also learn the basics of accounting.
