SD CEO to host monthly Women In Networking lunch

The South Dakota Center for Enterprise Opportunity (SD CEO), the women’s business center at Black Hills State University, will host the monthly Women in Networking (WIN) lunch at the Spearfish Holiday Inn Swarm Room Tuesday, Jan. 14 from 12 noon to 1 p.m.

WIN is a membership-based group that provides networking opportunities for women. "Women in Networking is an important part of my career development.  I learn from professional women who are trying to grow personally and professionally, just like me. They support me and inspire me to keep striving for improvement," says Leah Braun, life coach and professional trainer.

Meetings are held monthly on the second Tuesday.  Members are welcome from any community in the Black Hills and may bring a door prize to promote their business. The spotlight speaker will be Mary Ann Larsen of Northern Compass Fine Art Studio.

No commitment to membership is needed to attend the first meeting. Registration for each monthly meeting is $15 and includes lunch. Membership is $40 and can be completed through online registration at www.BHSU.edu/SDCEO or by phone at (605) 642-6435. The SD CEO is now accepting applications for 2014 WIN members.

The SD CEO is partially funded by the U.S. Small Business Administration. The support given by the U.S. Small Business Administration through such funding does not constitute an expressed or implied endorsement of any of the components or participants’ opinions, products or services. SD CEO operates under Cooperative Agreement SBAHQ-11-W-0038. Reasonable accommodations for persons with disabilities will be made if requested at least two weeks in advance.
