Middle school and high school students will learn to take care of business accounting style at a summer camp at BHSU

Black Hills State University is giving local high school students the opportunity to learn more about accounting in an accounting camp.

The BHSU Taking Care of Business - Accounting Style accounting camp, open to high school students who have completed their sophomore year, is scheduled for June 10.

Accounting is the foundation and the language of business and accountants continue to be in high demand.

The camp will include activities such as, building a business, an accounting scavenger hunt, disc golf instruction, and an opportunity to speak with faculty and alumni about a career in accounting.

BHSU will be offering additional summer camps for middle and high school students on the following topics: photography, art, drafting, history, science, and creativity and critical thinking.

For more information or to sign up for any of the academic summer camps go to www.BHSU.edu/summercamps or contact Hasina Ahmad at 605.642.6427 or Hasina.Ahmad@BHSU.edu.
