BHSU Music Program presents a brass recital by Christopher Hahn

The Music Program at Black Hills State University will present a brass recital by Christopher Hahn, BHSU instructor of music, Sunday, Sept. 30 at 2:30 p.m. in the Clare and Josef Meier Recital Hall. Hahn will be joined by Dr. Jonathan Nero, assistant professor of music, and the Black Hills Brass.

The Black Hills Brass is a regional professional brass quintet that performs all styles of music for churches, weddings, and corporate events. The recital will contain a wide variety of music, including solo trumpet pieces, spirituals arranged for voice and trumpet, and rousing brass quintet music. The recital is free and open to the public. Donations will be taken to support the BHSU Friends of Music, an organization that raises money for BHSU music student scholarships.
