Nutritional Tips is topic of Healthy Bodies/Healthy Business seminar

The South Dakota Center for Enterprise Opportunity (SD CEO) at Black Hills State University, in collaboration with Regional Health, will present “Find Your Fuel – Nutritional Tips” as the final topic of the Healthy Bodies/Healthy Business seminar on June 12 and again on June 14.

Jason Kingbury, a registered dietitian and licensed nutritionist at Rapid City Regional Hospital (RCRH), will present the Spearfish session Tuesday, June 12, from noon to 1 p.m. in the Donald E. Young Sports and Fitness Center, room #206 on the BHSU campus. Kingsbury is a member of the nutrition support team at RCRH and enjoys helping individuals achieve overall wellness.

Mary Kallemeyn, a registered dietitian and licensed nutritionist at RCRH, will present the session in Rapid City Thursday, June 14, from noon to 1 p.m., in the conference room of the Comfort Inn & Suites, 915 Fairmont Blvd. Kallemeyn aids individuals in making dietary changes to achieve better nutritional balance and develop lifestyle habits that either correct or help manage chronic diseases. She is also a member of the nutrition support team at RCRH and appears once a month in Black Hills Fox HealthWatch segment discussing everyday nutrition strategies.

Cost for this Healthy Bodies/Healthy Business session is $10. Participants are welcome to bring their own lunch. As a culmination event for the Healthy Bodies/Healthy Business seminars, 5K/10K Fun Run and Walk will be held June 16 in Spearfish.
