Regional Health and SD CEO host wellness sessions

The South Dakota Center for Enterprise Opportunity (SD CEO) at Black Hills State University, in collaboration with Regional Health, will present Healthy Bodies Healthy Business, an eight-week lecture series focused on wellness.

Each week will spotlight a different topic with presentations available in Spearfish on Tuesdays, and Rapid City on Thursdays, from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. The series will culminate Saturday, June 16 with a 5K/10K Run and Walk at the Lyle Hare Stadium on the BHSU campus. The lecture series will take place as follows:

Session 1:  "Best Basics-Selecting the Correct Shoe and Attire to Avoid Discomfort"

Session 2:  "Staying the Course" with national speaker Dick Beardsley

Session 8:  "Find your Fuel-Nutritional Tips"

Cost will be $10 per session, with a discount rate for participation in all eight sessions. You may register for one, all or any combination of the sessions. Participants are welcome to bring their own lunch. The SD CEO is funded in part through a cooperative agreement with the U.S. Small Business Association (SBA), and is part of a network of more than 110 centers nationwide established through the SBA’s women’s business funding. While services are available to all those interested in entrepreneurship, there is a special emphasis on women, women veterans, Native Americans, the socially and/or economically disadvantaged, and youth entrepreneurs.
