BHSU Alumni Association hosts 50-Year-Club banquet

The Black Hills State University Alumni Association recently hosted the annual 50-Year-Club banquet at the Holiday Inn in Spearfish. The Black Hills State University Alumni Association recently hosted the annual 50-Year-Club banquet at the Holiday Inn in Spearfish.

Tom Wheaton, director of Alumni Relations at BHSU, was master of ceremonies for the event. BHSU President Kay Schallenkamp, Wheaton, and Steve Meeker, vice president of Institutional Advancement, welcomed alumni and gave their thanks for their support of the university.

The following day, the class of 1957 was inducted into the 50-Year-Club during the BHSU spring 2007 commencement.

The BHSU Alumni Office first organized the 50-Year-Club six years ago. All BHSU alumni who graduated 50 years ago or more are invited to join the club. Members are welcome to attend the annual 50-Year-Club reunion, which is held each May.
