BHSU library hosts open house

 

 
The E. Y. Berry Library-Learning Center at Black Hills State University recently hosted an open house to showcase the library’s new upgrades and collections. Dr. Ed Erickson (center), former BHSU library director, reminisces with Dr. Rajeev Bukralia (left), dean of Educational Outreach and Libraries, and Dr. Kay Schallenkamp, BHSU president, during the open house.

Community members, faculty, staff, and retired librarians were among the attendees at the recent open house for the E. Y. Berry Library-Learning Center at Black Hills State University.

Former librarians who attended included Dora Jones, Ed Erickson, and Barb Chrisman, along with her husband Riley Chrisman, retired faculty member.

According to Dr. Rajeev Bukralia, dean of Educational Outreach and Libraries, “It was a great way to showcase the library upgrades and collections. We received positive comments about our digital library displays on the Black Hills history.”
