BHSU Community Chorale and Band to begin rehearsals

The Black Hills State University Community Chorale will begin rehearsals Tuesday, Jan. 17 at 7 p.m. in the choir room in Clare and Josef Meier Hall.

The Community Chorale will be performing an American Folk Song concert with many familiar songs including, Black is the Color of My True Love’s Hair, Nelly Bly, O Susanna, My Old Kentucky Home, and many others.  All singers are welcome. The BHSU Community Band will begin rehearsals for a spring pops concert Monday, Jan. 23 at 7 p.m. in the band room in Meier Hall. The band is open to all instrumentalists and plays a wide variety of music. For more information, contact director Christopher Hahn at 642-6888 or
