The Black Hills State University Center for Academic Success recently started a “Take 5 and Win 25” campaign to encourage students to register early. Students who registered by April 30 were entered in a drawing to win one of four $25 gift certificates from the BHSU Bookstore. Early registrants also received a Take 5 candy bar. The Take 5 campaign encourages student to take 5 classes, approximately 15-16 hours per semester, to finish in four years. BHSU President, Kay Schallenkamp and Retention Director, Joe Valades awarded the students with their gift certificates and candy bars.
