BHSU to host winter choral concert

Black Hills State University presents A Winter Choral Concert Saturday, Nov. 19 at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, Nov. 20 at 2:30 p.m. at the Clare and Josef Meier Recital Hall on the BHSU campus.

The Concert Choir is performing two motets, three songs with a winter theme, and two African folk songs. The Chambers Singers will be performing Christmas carol arrangements and a set a 16th century madrigals. The Women’s Chorus is performing three pieces; two motets and a setting of a Charles Dickens text, “These things can never die.”

Admission to the concert is free and the public, although donations for scholarships are welcomed. For more information, contact Dr. Jonathan Nero at (605) 642-6628.
