BHSU Center for Economic Education to present free investment webinar

The Black Hills State University Center for Economic Education (CEE), along with the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association Foundation, will offer a webinar presentation by Sam Stovall on the “Seven Rules of Wall Street” and their validity in today’s environment Tuesday, Oct. 18 from 2-3 p.m.

As Standard and Poor’s Chief Investment Strategist, Stovall serves as analyst, publisher and communicator of Standard and Poor’s outlooks for the economy, market, sectors, and stocks. In addition to his book, The Seven Rules of Wall Street, he also writes a weekly investment piece, “Stovall’s Sector Watch,” on www.spoutlook.com, which focuses on market/sector history, as well as sector/industry momentum.

The BHSU Center for Economic Education promotes economic and financial literacy for South Dakota K-12 teachers and students. The Center’s main economic education program is the South Dakota Stock Market Game program, an online stock market simulation. The Center also provides teacher training workshops and economic education resources to integrate economic and personal finance lesson plans in a variety of grade levels and subjects.
