‘Historians In Our Own Minds’ on display Ruddell Gallery

“The Schnosberries Taste Like Schnosberries” is a part of the exhibition by Trey Morgan and recent Black Hills State University graduate Michael Knutson that is currently on display in the Ruddell Gallery located in the David B. Miller Yellow Jacket Student Union on the BHSU campus.

A collaborative mixed media art exhibition by Trey Morgan and recent Black Hills State University graduate Michael Knutson, titled “Historians In Our Own Minds” is currently on display in the Ruddell Gallery located in the David B. Miller Yellow Jacket Student Union on the BHSU campus.

The exhibit began with ten pieces that were started by each artist, then traded and completed by the other artist. According to the artists’ statement, the pieces are comprised of dumpster scraps, thrift store finds, and nostalgic imagery combined to create a mythological history in the manner of a child documenting life in a way only he can understand.

The exhibition will be on display through Oct. 21. The gallery is located on the second floor of the Student Union and is open during normal business hours.
