BHSU to host guest recital featuring violinist Gregory T. S. Walker

Black Hills State University will host a guest recital by violinist Gregory T. S. Walker Thursday, Oct. 13 at 7:30 p.m. in Clare and Josef Meier Recital Hall. The recital is titled “Envisioning the Violin...from Bach to Hendrix...”

Walker is from the University of Colorado – Denver, and will feature his electric violin during the recital-lecture. He has been featured with American orchestras such as the Cleveland Chamber Symphony, the Breckenridge Festival Orchestra, the Ft. Collins Symphony, the Yaquina Chamber Orchestra, the Colorado Music Festival Orchestra, and abroad at Great Britain’s Lake District Music Festival, Cuba’s Encuentro Musical de los Americas, and the Spoleto Festival in Italy.
