BHSU library houses Braille items for public use

The E. Y. Berry Library and Learning Center at Black Hills State University is a participant of a government program that disseminates information free to the American public via participating federal depository libraries across the nation.

The E. Y. Berry Library has received a small number of Braille materials as a part of the program. These Braille materials are published by the National Park Service, distributed by the Department of Interior and largely relate to U.S. historical sites and events. They are shelved in the section of the U.S. Government Document collection on the top floor of the library.

Anyone who enjoys reading and/or practicing Braille is welcome to check these materials out with a BHSU Library card or peruse them in the library. Community members are welcome to come in and apply for a BHSU library card at any time.
